A smudged love letter to the underground, Cigarette Magazine is a new collage art zine from Wesley Eisold… a visceral splice of subculture memory, fashion debris, and Xerox damage.

Issue 1 is a scorched remix of the past: psychologically singed post-punk, goth, hardcore, and underground fashion ephemera are cut up and reassembled like back-alley advertisements for lost nights. Grainy band photos and sleazy back-page classifieds crash into bondage diagrams, early twee lettering, faded logos, and ghosted glamour shots… all reworked through the lens of burnt-out longing and identity reconstruction.

Think: Siouxsie in a mail-order leather ad. Crass meets The Face. Chain-smoking punks filtered through broken copy machines and smeared indie pop layouts. A recontextualized playground where glamor and grit coexist, blown out and bleeding at the edges.

Made in the tradition of Xerox punk zines and early DIY press, Cigarette isn’t nostalgia… it’s a confrontation. A catalog of contradiction through lipstick, static, and tape hiss.
