Cigarette Magazine Issue 3

Wesley Eisold's Cigarette Magazine Issue 3 continues the series as a visual archive of subcultures that rarely shared space but always shared a spirit. It collects fragments from scenes that too often passed each other by: punks, goths, mods, hardcore kids, and others who lived on the edges. Every page is a kind of daydream. This issue brings them together in one imagined document. 

Cigarette explores the connections that never quite happened but feel like they could have. A parallel history told through manipulated, photocopied textures, altered flyers, faded fashion ads, mixtape inserts, and cut and paste longing. It is a visual narrative built from club nights, basement shows, mailorder catalogs, and unsent letters that might have existed in the margins of a different past.

It is less about historical accuracy and more about the emotional truth of being obsessed with sound, and the strange connections they spark.
