5.5 x 8.5 "Cigarette Magazine Issue 5 explores the overlap between gabber, Oi!, hardcore techno, hardcore punk, and street-level industrial culture. A bloody fist extended in friendship. Fishnets, steel toes, found oscillators, broken electronics, and warehouse dance floors sit alongside unattended poetry readings in 90s coffee shops, all-night Denny’s gatherings, stolen cars abandoned by sunrise, and conversations that outlast the party itself.
Set in the imagined town of Naivety, the issue follows a temporary autonomous zone where toughness and vulnerability blur beneath the chemical glow of MDMA. Through collage, damaged photographs, flyers, and industrial textures, Cigarette continues its archive of subcultures built from friendship, excess, noise, and the traces they leave behind.
Local legends only.
