Cigarette Issue 2 deepens the burn as a document of subcultural telepathy. It's a hallucinatory collage of underground music and the aesthetics that haunt it. Drawn from a life spent in basements, back rooms, and record store daydreams, this issue connects the dots between punk, hardcore, goth, synth, and rock ’n’ roll… not just through sound, but through the visual and emotional debris left behind.

Band flyers rot into fashion ads. Mailorder adverts dissolve into love letters. Pages hum with the psychic tension between defiance and desire and imaginary flyers… where chains meet lace, and eyeliner meets blood. This is where Madball shares a bill with The Softies and Hanatarash jams Scott Walker at the Limelight.

It’s a mix-tape in paper form: Xeroxed, torn, and collaged with obsessive care. Grainy photo cutouts, scrawled lyrics, demo tape inserts, tabloid curses, and tender fragments of underground longing… all stitched together in a visual language only lifers understand.
